Hi All,

I need a new cable which goes from the shifter to the front derailleur, but I can't seem to find anything.

It is for a Specialized Allez Elite, which has Tiagra Shifters fitted.

Can anyone tell me (or link me even) what Cable I need?

Many Thanks,

James

A universal gear inner cable will do the job just fine (front and rear are the same - just cut to length after fitting). I do prefer the teflon coated ones myself (think Shimano supply these as standard).

Thanks for that. So do I want something like this :

    http://www.ribblecycles.co.uk/sp/road-t ... 3000000000 (Stainless Steel).

And just simply cut to length?

    Thanks and ATB

Your upper link is just the part you need. It will come with a MTB nipple on one end and road/sti nipple on the other. Cut off the MTB end, fit then cut to length. Use the park tool website for instructions. If your desperate then halfords do gear cables too.
