help!! cleaned bike now can't shift!!

help got a 100km sportive tomorrow!! when i have put my wheel back on it won't shift, its shuck on the highest gear(the gear left it on when took wheel off and put back on) it will only click as if shifting maybe 3-4 clicks at most but nothing i happening! don't have time to get to lbs now! help, thank you

    This is why you don't fiddle with it the day before a sportive!

    If you can't get it sorted you can always try and find some mechanics at the sportive.. most include mechanical support.


    But what exactly did you do to it? Did you just spray it with a hose.. or was there more to it?

    as far as i recall i just same as usual. took wheels off(while on stand) and then sprayed all over with muc off. rinsed ripped down. i now wonder if its to do with cleaning the chain? as usual spun the chain through a sponge but don't see how that has done it as the deraillier just doesn't move now.

    just looked on event website and they have some tech help at start so will go extra early and look to get some help
