Are great. Put some on my Kuota KOM to replace my spinnergy's and the ride has been totally transformed. I wish I could make them "sing" as well as they undoubtedly could.

I'd recommend them to anyone.

One mans cheap is another mans expensive.

I purchased them from my LBS not on line so I dare say I paid more than some would have. I do like to support my LBS though.

    What's the braking like ?

I've only used them in dry conditions and in them they're excellent.

Pro bikes at Hucknall Notts (0115 9561955) Scot Gamble is the proprietor is knowledgeable and give good advice.

The wheels are Spinergy stealth PBO and have given good service and are as good as new TBH.

Wasn't sure ProBikes was still going as I've not been over that way for ages, used to go to see his Principia's so that tells you how long it's been.
(Well it is the wrong side of the M1 for a Derby fan !)
Shouldn't ask but what's the plans for the Spinergys..... ?
    Shim or Campag ?

We need a picture of your wheels and bike actually.
You can't just turn up and say I've got great new wheels and not show us !

Braking in the wet on them is terrible.

I looked at Assaults in 2008 when they had these brown stickers on them and I said, not for my post-tax money.

Now they look at lot beter. Didn't Reynolds do something to improve wet braking recently?

I wouldn't buy new ones at the moment until they come out with a 22/23mm rim like everyone else is doing. I've been converted since I got some Ardennes in '08.

They've been put on my second bike a Principia which is old but still rides like a dream.

I've got two pairs of them. 2010 and 2012
I think they're great too. The braking seems stronger on the older pair, but doesn't pulse on the newer ones. I find braking in the wet is fine and in the dry is very good.
Preferred the decals on the older ones with the nicer font. Found the new ones with the funky deals looked horrible so took them off. Then decided I didn't like huge Reynolds stickers on my wheels at all so removed them all and much prefer them now. I would highly recommend them.
Also, the newer pair seemed to have really weak braking fir a few hundred miles to start with but now they are equal in power to the previous model. They were pretty bad to start with.
