Well the other day I bent my outer chainring on a run, but it was not too big a deal as I was going to convert to a 2x9 setup with a bash soon anyway...

So now I have got my bashguard I need to remove the outer chainring, but here is the problem, the bolts on my truvative stylo crank have a hole all the way through with a slightly different sized Allen key on each side, and when I try to rotate and undo them, the bolts just spin on both sides and don't undo!

Can anyone tell me how to remove the bolts to get the outer ring off ? As at the moment I am stuck.

Thanks in advance, also I can get some pictures if needed
