Hi all,

I have a damaged rim on my Fulcrum R1 (2010) front wheel.
The damage to my rim is slightly dented meaning when braking my pads obviously judder.
The bike wheel is usable and in the most part, completely true.

I am based currently in Muswell Hill, London. Does anybody know a good bike shop to repair my wheel apart from Condor Cycles?

Many thanks.

A new rim fitted will cost you around 150-200 pounds for the Fulcrum 1, that assuming it is in stock, cause they're more often than not out of stock.
I suggest to take some sand paper and smoothen the dent... you can do miracles with this method. Failing that, take it on the chin and head to a bike shop that stocks Fulcrum

I eased a dent on a Rigida rim into better alignment with a bit of careful work with an adjustable spanner. I got it close enough that a wet spring of riding has more or less rendered the fix invisible (you could initially spot the damage after a wet ride as the muck sat across that area inconsistently).

Bent out I'd have thought a bit of wood and a mallet would be a good way to start?
    Faster than a tent.......
