Hi
Have just had my BB changed at the LBS and now the gear change (rear) is behaving strangely, the chain-line seems wrong. Chain is jumping under load and I am getting suck in the small ring, so the chain gets carried up into the gap between frame and cog. All drive chain parts changed recently and worked perfectly before.
I am wondering, should they have fitted one or two spacers on the drive side of the BB?
Have done this myself before, but simply cannot recall.

and the cranks are?
and the BB width is?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Sorry. The cranks are 89,5mm and the crank is DEORE XT, made a mistake above there is ONE spacer fitted on each side and I think there should be none on the drive side.
Anyway, now I have manged to find the shimano tech docs, and it looks as if the spacer is correct. Must try something else!

1 spacer drive side. And that's it.
So will not change your change line.0 -
many thanks and sorry for the incorrect data. Using my granddads guage and reading off the wrong side.0

Oh, it's changed to 89.5 lol, so is not a standard HT2 fitting. I'll have to check what that uses!0

It's a press fit BB, no? In which case, Supersonic was right - 1 spacer drive side and that's it...
