Play in one of my pedals...

Hi guys, I recently bought some second hand Superstar Ultra Mag pedals from eBay, The seller had listed one of the pedals had some slight play in them and at £20 for the pedals and a rebuild kit only £15 I couldn't say no.
Just wondering if I should get the rebuild kit asap or will it be fine for now? There isn't that much play to be honest I just want to make sure that if I leave it as it is then it won't damage the pedal beyond repair.
