Shimano 6500 Octalink Chainset & BB

Hi,
I am about to rebuild a winter bike onto a new frame. I plan to use my Ultegra 6500 Octalink chainset and wondered what limitations there are regarding bottom brackets for it. Do I have to stick with the BB6500 or will any of the Octalink BBs work? Can I use a later model of Shimano BB?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
