anyone seen any decent deals on these at all. had a look in local halfords but all sold out.
cheers

In the same vein, I've got 2 of these in my garage - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=10230
Got my road bike hooked to one, and the Mrs MTB on the other, both fit perfectly.0 -

I've got virtually the same bracket - but mine is market up as "Bikehut" and was bought from Halfords. Really impressed with them - i have 2 in my hall cupboard so get to keep the bikes in the apartment. 8)0 -
these...

...it'll take 2-3 bikes, but i just put one bike on it, so i lopped a bit off the arms to make it shallower
the nice thing is if you get the height right it doubles as a work stand
the length of the arms means the leverage on the upper mounting hole is high, especially with multiple bikes, you need a really good anchor, not just a screw+plug, i used a 14mm anchor bolt into masonry, for mounting on wood or thin walls i'd just put a bolt right through the wall with a big washer on the outsidemy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
thanks for the help guys, went for the ones with the arms in the end per sungod's post. will stick one of them down low on the wall for kids bikes and to double up as a workstand (of sorts!)0
