Hi there, picked a lovely new sky kit from Evans today, but out on the first ride of only 30miles the logos on the rear have started to peel off. Luckily evans have agreed to replace, but I just wondered if this is common place for them to go so soon? Obviously I understand over one this may happen due to them being stuck on and not inbuilt.
Any info appreciated,
Kind Regards

I take it the logos are on the shorts, not the jersey.

My sky adidas shorts tore away where the pad was stitched in. I got themin a sale but even so - not impressed by the quality. In comparison I've Adidas running shorts that are years old with a lot of wear on them and they're fine.

Have to say the Adidas Sky kit is shite especially for the money.

It's very very poor replica of what the actual team ride and use.

I paid £20 for the bibs and got the shirt for free. No way would I have paid anymore than £20 I paid for the bibs the pad is shocking. The jersey is poor quality and the zip may as well not be there.

Decent enough for short commutes to work that is all.

The labels have stayed in place on mine though.
  • I have an old pair of Adidas shorts, the best I have ever had) I was looking at the GB kit as I didn't want the sky branded ones. they're not as good in my opinion.

I mentioned this in a post last year and got shot down for it.

The Adidas kit is made by Moa who made a whole load of other teams gear too. On last years tour I looked at the official stands merchandising shops. Those made by Moa were by far the worst quality.

Worse than the £20 tops in decathlon but at 4x the price.

The best gear that year quality wise was the Europecar stuff.
