Brake pads
Hi-cant get enough purchase on the screws that hold the pads in-must be 2 or 2.5 hex keys but they just turn round in the screws.Any ideas to get enough torque on them?Prob need to pack them with something to get a grip but cant think what.
Whats the solution? Just pedal faster you baby.

Try wrapping a rubber band round the end of the allen key ala number five here -

or - if you don't mind ruining the heads of the screws a slight bigger Torx head tapped in with a hammer usually works.0 -
Last resort is a set of pliers or mole grips to get the screw out. Or just get some new brake shoes.More problems but still living....0
