Planet X have emailed this morning to tell me my delivery will arrive between 11.13 am and 12.13pm. Please can I ensure somewhere is there to sign for it...

Have to say I am pretty impressed with the level of organisation and communication. Now just have to see how accurate they will be...

Does anyone else spend the time waiting for deliveries clock-watching and toe-tapping? :?

    Wish they would email me and tell me my bike is on its way. Oh noooo, they email me to tell me my bike will be built next week. I hate waiting :D

    Are they using DPD as the courier? DPD usually provide a 1hr deliever slot, really helpful.

    Yep, it was DPD, and the were right on time, arrive about 10 minutes into their hour slot. Good work folks, just a shame it wasn't anything more exciting than new tyres and inner tubes...

    DPD are really good like that.

    Their drivers aren't allowed to deliver before the allocated slot, so they don't drive round like idiots so they can get home early which is a very good idea.

    In contrast, Yodel have a 8hr - 5 day delivery slot. Very helpful :roll:

    I had a similar experience with Planet X.

    I also go a text message with the drivers name and delivery time.

    Within 10 min of the time my nice new carbon wheels were at the door.
