Help me out guys! I've test ridden both, and adored them both. Target riding is sportives rather than race but both are so many leaps above my current stable in terms of ride float and power transfer that I'm like a kid in a candy store. These two are my shortlist - advice required!
FCN 5 belt driven fixie for city bits
CAADX 105 beastie for bumpy bits
Litespeed L3 for Strava bits

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast.

wow, two very similarly specced bikes, hard to separate them. Unfortunately you are probably in a far better place to judge than the rest of us, having test ridden them both. Did one now make you smile even more than the other? !

I'm a huge Willier fan, but the LItespeed will be a bit more exclusive when riding sportives, you don't see too many around still.

Thanks AJB, the Litespeed is winning a bit but only 'cos I love the stealthy looks over the Italian bling. Both ate broken tarmac......

    As I said, Help!

Buy the Wilier, especially if it is the pre XP version in pearl white. Ridden one and liked it a lot. Soaked up the road bumps and lumps really well, so sounds like a good frame set for your intended use

First recommendation is to get Campag on your Izoard.
    Trail fun - Transition Bandit
Road - Wilier Izoard Centaur/Cube Agree C62 Disc
    Allround - Cotic Solaris
  • Izoard. Great bikes, the earlier higher spec full carbon fork ones or the XP, both ride great!

Don't touch anything imported by ABG the company that does Litespeed.

Do a google search on Merlin (another ABG brand) Warranty. One of the users on here ended up with the cops at his door after an allegation of harassment when they wouldn't sort his warranty claim!

Blog about it here- (nowt to do with me btw)
