Recently read that new Dura ace 9000 11 speed mechanical group will cost $2,699? Someone tell me this is advice only and the real cost will be less?!
I'm only recently back after a few years out so missed 7800 and 7900 (have 7700 9 speed on 12 year old bike) and was thinking of building a bike using 9000 but with having to purchase new wheels to accomodate the 11 speed cassette AND the group price I reckon for the first time in my life I will NOT be using shimano (sorry only ever used DA, couldn't possibly drop to Ultegra!) Don't like Campag shifting so I could end up a sram convert  What's the world coming to?

Have thought of that but I find the shifting inferior to the 7700 I have at the moment.....'REMEMBER SOME PEOPLE ARE ALIVE
