Kask K10 Quality?

Hey guys,

My K10 arrived from the CRC sale. I believe the model is a few years old though.

I didn't like the styling but I thought I'd keep it as it was half price. However, after a few times of trying it on to try and convince myself to like it (not an actual ride), the 2 screws(?)/pegs have come out one of the sides which hold the back head restraint (the up-down thingy) which means that it is useless!

I really like this helmet and I'm tempted to get the Dieci now... hoping the new model won't have this issue. I didn't pull on them, i was just adjusting the back and they popped out...

Has anyone else had this problem? Or are Kask's generally good quality?

Thanks!

I have a K10 and the quality is excellent. Never had a problem at all.

Have you contacted CRC about this?

Not yet, it only happened last night. Just wanted to see what other quality was like so I could complain more ;)

Looking at CRC there's three variants of the K10, mine appears to be the one described as 'Race', with the leatherette chin strap. Though I'm sure the up'n'down retention system and it's fixings don't differ for each model, probably just cosmetic differences.
