Achilles tendons (sore)

just typical!


got 2 weeks off from saturday (4th) fair bit of riding planned but

but past few days my Achilles tendons have been sore, discomfort after a few hours of walking/ shop work


so, rest and ICE when i can, and just ignore the pain, and ride every other day or?

think i got this from riding my road bike, which has flat pedals :oops: :roll: ( long story)

flats on the mtb, i feel i have more of a stable platform on the mtb

what to do? :cry:

    Go to a bike shop and get some fit advice.

    I'd suggest rubbing a hot or cold creme like sombra on your calfs. It's great for muscle soreness. Lactic acid is likely building up in those muslces and sombra stimulates blood flow in the area, allowing the lactic acid to disappate.

  • i am slowwwwwly recovering from achilles tendo .its important to keep even your hamstrings loose plus as mad as it seems new shoes/ boots can cause problems :|
