Hi, attached pic of the droputs and was wondering if i would need a tensioner with my dropouts?

    No, they're horizontal

    Might want to get a proper track nut rather than a quick release though.

    I am going to change the wheels for flip/flop ones so that I can choose fixed or freewheel, I hope that is all will need to change (nuts yes not QR) anything else anyone can think of ??

    Flip flop wheels are normally 120mm PLD. Frames with those droputs pictured ar normally found on older 6 speeds with a 126mm OLD. Yours could be a 5 speed in which case those had 120mm OLD. Measure you spacing, if you have 126 OLD then the frame should suash down to 120mm with track nuts or youn will need to added 3mm of washer to each end of the axle to keep eveeything dished properly.

    The dropouts are on a 90's Duell steel, 8 speed cassette fitted.

    Well then you have a 130mm OLD. Your flip flop wheels will be 120mm so you will have to add 5mm spacers to each side.

    Plenty of singlespeed hubs about that can be respaced to 130mm OLN or alternatively, have the frame cold-set to 120mm. As the drop-outs have some degree of lateral adjustment, then you should have no need for a tensioner and you'll need bolts / nuts to hold the hub securely.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
