Pads and Shoes
Hi all,
Got a Colnago with campag everything and have just removed my much worn pads from the shoes, albeit with a bit of tug and pull.
Got a new set of Campag br-re700 pads and they don't have the groove where the mini screw keeps them in place going into the shoe.
Anyway - I for love nor money cannot get them to slide in. I have bust both index figures trying but it leave abut 5mm at the end. It is impossible. With it not having the screw as well, I'm wondering if these are the correct pads?! Which seems bizarre I know, but can;t help but think this now...

I think that you have answered your own question my son.
The alternative is to try some Fairy liquid when popping them in - it'll help them slide in and then dry off holding them in so you don't need the grub screws.0
