In support of Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT), I'm getting some TCT branded jerseys made. With the fantastic help of Gore Bike Wear and Image Scotland, these will be top-quality Gore Contest FZ (Full-Zip) jerseys. I'm funding the production of the jerseys and will be "gifting" them to people that donate £50 to my Malin to Mizen Head ride in August. That way, 100% of your donation will go to TCT and it should be match funded: your £50 will generate £100 for TCT. The RRP of the Gore Contest FZ is around £50.

The main thread is here with details of the jerseys and how to donate & receive your jersey

TCT have been brilliant in helping us as my son went through his 1.5 years of cancer treatment so please help support young people with this terrible disease and their families.

Regardless of the exceptionally worthy cause this is a great value deal for a gore jersey, fill your boots peeps

Great initiative. You're slightly underselling it, though ;) If people can gift aid the £50 they donate (Just Giving makes this really easy) the Government will top up with an additional £12.50.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. I don't think you can claim Gift Aid if you're getting a gift like this in return for donating http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/charities/gift_aid/benefits.htm
  • Just to say that 42 of the 50 jerseys have now gone - feedback on them is great (see the Commuting thread for details).

I still have 8 to go in sizes from L, XL & XXL - the jerseys seem to size slightly on the small side judging from feedback so, if in doubt, size up.
