I am quite a newbie to mountain biking and I have limited knowledge on any type of bike mechanics. The problem I have is that when changing gear going down the cogs from large to small it misses one an keeps wanting to change when on the bottom (smallest) cog. It down not happen the other way round and goes through all cogs like it should

Please help

Thanks

Is this changing at front ir rear? (front at a guess) Either way helpful setup guides on YouTube as well as parktools website as it sounds like the front mech needs indexing.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

google your bike for a utube video - loads of videos showing you how to adjust cable tension. I'm a newbie as well but you can usually fix it yourself. I can never do it as well as a bike shop but close enough.
