Hello I am looking at buying a boardman road bike, however I need advice on sizing. At the moment I have a large boardman fs comp, however I am only 5"8/9 therefore the sizing guides say I should have a medium road bike!

Do you think this is the case, my large boardman mountain bike is perfect for me?

Thanks

P.S I am looking at a boardman comp road bike, any good? Are there any others good at a similar prices?

I have a Road Comp in small. I'm 5'8. I found the medium to be a bit too stretched out however I probably could have countered this with a shorter stem. I guess it depends on what you want the bike for, as the small is a fairly racy position for me, maybe the medium would have been a bit more relaxed. Large will almost definitely be too big.

    Thanks

Instead of opening another thread, I am looking at riding on the road no massive hills but a few. I have found a triathalon bike which is fantastic but not sure what the difference is between a road and tri bike?

I'm not sure what you mean by a Triathlon bike as I thought most just used general road bikes but if you're reasonably flexible then you could jump for the small bike. Best bet is to try them and see how you feel. If the medium is too stretched out to the bars, try the small.
