Hope someone may be able to assist. It looks like the fork sensor battery in my specialized speedzone cycle computer (2007 model) has run out and having searched and searched I am struggling to work out the type of battery and where i can buy one from.

it looks like a mini aa style battery, for clarity i have enclosed a picture of the computer.

Thanks
Dave

Dont wish to sound churlish, but would it not have been better to have put up a pic of the Battery? Then we may have stood a chance of identifying it for you

Agreed, however the battery was put somewhere safe and now can not be found!

Thanks for the response. Already tried the specialized manuals for my model (speedzone 2007) however the manual makes no mention of the fork battery. any other ideas?

    Almost certainly a CR123

This shows the sensor battery as a 23A

ahhhhh, sorry, i misread, so you're after the sensor battery, not the computer battery

post a pic of the sensor, it might just be a rebranded vdo or similar

My Lidl/Aldi megabucks special computer has a 23AE battery in the sensor. AAA diamerter but approx 3/4 the length.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
