Renthal SR4 Chainring Bolts

Apologies if this question has already been asked elsewhere, but a quick google search didnt bring up any answers.
Im looking to buy a renthal SR4 chainring for my xt chainset(1x10 conversion). I read somewhere that due to the thickness of the chainring, standard length bolts could be used to attach it. Is this correct? If this is the case, does this mean that shorter bolts designed for 1 ring only will be too short?
Thanks

generally rings have a recess for the bolts. a bolt that holds two rings is too long unless spacers are used.
cant say that they are any different to other rings."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

But only if it is just a ring that is being fitted."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
