Buying Bikes wholesale from China

This on-line store based in China started advertising locally in Toronto, Canada's Kijiji listings... that is how I found them.

They have some very nice deals on Colnago & Giant road bikes, which they say, they buy directly from the manufacturer & therefore can offer low prices, and that the bikes are 100% real and without defect.

I have a huge concern about ordering a bike from them as they are in China & are pretty much governed by no laws :? . If I were to buy from them there so no guarantee I will receive the bike, it would be a defect/flaw from manufacturing, etc....

Wondering if anybody has bough bikes from them before or heard of this? http://ibuyccc.com/class.asp?lx=small&anid=99&nid=625

  • I'm pretty much thinking:

Website for 'too cheap to be true' bikes + Punters looking for a bargain = No bike and a lot of explaining to the missus

I am not Chinese nor was I spamming - I was just curious if anyone had ever heard or dealt with a similar store that is buying bikes directly from the factories before. I do know Colnago & Giant are made in Taiwan... but my first thought was "to good to be true"

Wanted to see what others thought to help validate my concerns.

i would be very wary as some of their images are all so used in other adverts. the Giant for example.

Looks like a complete scam. The prices on these bikes (including free shipping) wouldn't cover the cost of the wheels let alone the frame and groupset.
