Look to the classifieds or ebay to get the right bits at the right price.
I wouldn't be blowing £40 on bars in a £300 budget, you've got no cranks/BB in there.
Even if you want to build it yourself - you're still going to have to trawl the classifieds, eBay, PinkBike etc to find used parts to keep to your budget and just make do with what you can find
If I was building a budget DJ bike with new parts I'd probably be looking at a Superstar DHX wheelset for £130. Then a DJ bar as well as stem, pedals, grips, seatpost & finishing kit from SixPack Racing - that's another £150 (min.)
Add tyres & a seat to that lot and you're already over budget! You still need frame, forks, drivetrain, cranks & brakes. Even if you find those parts second hand you're still gonna be looking at over £500.
As above- if you just wanna get out and start riding it would make much more sense to spend the £300 on a used bike

Pretty much everything im looking at at is used, from eaby, pink bike or from sales on here
I forgot to mention, the frame comes with good BB, headset.
Been out and bought pedal, cranks and arms, chain, tensioner and freewheel £70
Taken on board, nice parts

Still looks a decent buy at only slightly over budget for a brand spanker but yeah I agree - your best option is just picking up a cheap, used bike that's ready to ride and slowly customize/upgrade it as funds allow
That way you still learn how to build a bike but you can get out there straight away and don't have initial spiralling costs of building one from scratch.
