Shoe fit tips
Chaps, need some thoughts/advice
I have wide feet and have got myself a set of Sidi Megas. The right foot is like a slipper, but the left I am constantly trying to get right.
Basically it feels like the outside of the foot is pushing on the side and over the sole footprint area and rolling over the sole. What's the best way to try and correct this? Thanks

Sounds like a shoe / cleat / pedal alignment issue as much as shoe fit? Might be worth consulting a bike fit specialist?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Thanks Monty, I had a Retul done a few months back, but they didn't really look at that part of the alignment. On that front a little disappointed.
Any recommendations from anyone on someone who could help?0 -
You could look at low-volume footbeds (Superfeet Black or Yellow). Not only will they create more space for your forefoot but by supporting your arch they'll alleviate pressure so your forefoot doesn't expand as much under load.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0

I should say I have some Specialised footbeds in there already.0

Specialized don't do a stiff support or a specific low volume. It may be worth just bringing them to a Superfeet retailer and seeing if you can notice a difference.English Cycles V3 | Cervelo P5 | Cervelo T4 | Trek Domane Koppenberg0
