Hi guys I'm relatively new to this and was just looking to gain a bit of info, I have an FSA comet chainset on my Boardman Team mtb but I use it for commuting and for funzies too. Question is, can I get a chainring with more than 42t that will allow me to be a bit quicker. Link to bike is below:

    In a word, No.

As yet 3 bolt 86mm BCD chainrings are in short supply.

And FSA don't do a bigger ring.

At a cadence of around 100 you'll be doing about 30mph with a 42/11 combo. How fast do you want to go?
