Hi, I saw the new rockshox 2013 forks viewtopic.php?f=10002&t=12862343
and they look fantastic, for the money I can buy the xc 32 fork which will fit perfectly on my new 2012 white specialized hardrock sport disc. So should I get the new 2013 xc 32 or the 2011 tora 302/318 fork?

personally i'd say the toras, the xc 32's are bargain basement budget forks. a mate has them on his bike and thinks they're ok, but he hasn;t ridden anything different0

basically terrible for anything other than a cycle path.0

They're not much cop. Toras are hefty but good, the 318 is one of the better budget forks out there- proper motion control damping.Uncompromising extremist0

I've got the Tora's and they are surprisingly capable. They really are the minimum need for anything fun.0

The XC32 is a good budget fork. They have the same damper as found in forks much higher in the range.basically terrible for anything other than a cycle path.
Have you tried one?0 -
Yeah, it rattled me teeth out!
Oh and it had a really harsh clunky bottom and top out.0 -
Must have been a faulty one, these are good forks.0

My wifes bike has XC32's and they feel fine for xc and trail riding. Not great but at least as good as the Tora SL I had on my old hardtail.
Nothing to them so they should be reliable.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
