I want to buy some handlebars to replace my steel ones on my Valour to save 400g. :roll:
They're 660mm wide and has a 25.4mm centre diameter and i would like to get something similar.
That's when i saw some FSA ones for £5 but theyre 600mm wide. Also some other ones 680mm wide but £9 more expensive.
Is it worth buying the £5 ones and adjusting my riding style a bit or shall i buy the 680s and cut 10mm off of each end?
Thanks.

My god road cycling is scary! I'm going to keep my relaxing rides to the trails where everything is green, fast and less crazy.

Or just buy the 680s and not bother cutting? Is 10mm either end going to cause you any hassle?0

I just took these off my Rockhopper for a build I'm doing;

You will notice the buzz of alu bars coming from steel ones.
I ended up going for carbon ones as I did not like the feel of alu bars after steel ones.0 -
So what do your steel bars weigh?0
