I noticed a bit of movement in my cranks at the bottom bracket area, I replaced the bottom bracket with a new one (GXP) but there is still movement. It looks like the movement is actually coming from the bottom bracket shell itself!!

Does this mean that the threads are loose or knackered?? Can this be repaired? It is a carbon frame with metal/aluminium threads.

the bonding in the inserts could have gone.

I have just checked the bottom bracket shell and it is this that is moving slightly (0.5mm) Is it possible to get it out the frame and rebonded to the frame??
