tyre size question

Bit of a newb question here. I have had some wheels lying around for ages for my road bike which have no tyres.I was about to buy some Vittoria Rubino's which are 700x23c for them & noticed on the edge of the rim 622x15c. The wheels are Fulcrum Racing 5 evolution. Will 700x23 tyres fit? I'm sure plenty of people will know the answer, I just want to make sure I only buy once & safely too :mrgreen:

    Definitely x15? Your 23s will be fine. 622 is the ERTRO denomination if you're ever losing sleep start investigating tyre sizing

    Yes mate 622X15c in very small writing on the rim.Thanks for your reply:)

    Ah that is the rim size not the tyre, sorry not reading properly! 622x23 is fine still
