Is there anything to choose between DT Swiss 240s hubs and Chris King R45's? I need a set of hubs to use on a set of training wheels (Mavic open pro rims) and at the moment its between those two.
If people had the choice what would they go for and why?

If I was you, I'd be going to see a doc. You might need your bumps feeling if you're just going to stick a set of CK hubs on training wheels.Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

I can pick CK's up for only £10 more than the DT 240s so they are compatible in price.0

PS If you can advise any other good hub to go for then please say.0

I'm with matt, both CK and the DT's are race hubs rather than training hubs. Probably look at shimano ultegra (or campy equivalent).
Just my view.

Hope, Ultegra, DA, etc etc etc.Science adjusts it’s beliefs based on what’s observed.

Hope and Shimano are both not in consideration, I don't want cup and cone and I don't want that freewheel noise, its terrible.
I guess it might be worth looking at some Fulcrum Zeros then as they are at a good price at the moment at a few places, hmmm.0 -
Enve's + Chris King = the cats pyjamas man.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think the Chris Kings are silent.0 -

They are far from silent but the noise is imho far more pleasing on the ear than hope hubs.0 -
They truly are a thing of beauty. You know that's the only choice. If they're good enough for Wiggins.0
