64yr Old Mtb'er dies near Keswick.

A 64yr old man from Penrith died whilst MTBing near Keswick, he fell over 500ft!!
Some other sites say it was on Latrigg but I think it was more likely on Lonscale fell, I've cycled that route :?

    I ride that bit quite regularly, one friend went off the edge once, luckily he only went a few feet. Took us around an hour to find his bike as dusk was coming, it was nighon at the bottom!

    Sadly probably wouldn't get much attention because of his age, yet a fall like that could happen to any of us. Had a minor one at Afan, narrow climb, wide bars, clip the rock and over I go. Luckily relatively soft slope to tumble down and trail below stopped me. But make it steeper and bigger drop...!
