Dale Super 6 BB30 problems ? Sales ?

Looking at the super6 5 but have read a number of reports of BB30 creaking that can't be cured, does anyone know if this has been addressed with the new bikes or is it still a problem ? And is there a solution to it ?
Also when do the sales normally start ? Don't want to pay £2k only to see it reduced in two weeks
Thanks Jim

Distributors start clearing in-year stock late summer to make way for next model year - usually around August. But don't expect deep discounts on popular models and sizes as the best deals only usually apply to slow-moving/ unpopular models. May be worth speaking with a dealer first. In terms of creaking BB30, it's common with lots of bikes and is often down to the quality of construction and assembly in the first place.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

Both my bikes have BB30 and neither of them creak. Ones even a Dale...0

I have a supersix and the BB has creaked a little since I have had it (Jan 12). To be honest it's not very loud and does not bother me at all.
At some point I will have alook at taking the bearings out and seeing if there is anything I can do.0 -
Its a chance you ll have to take - most are fine and some are not.
I got my GF a caad10 and it was a friggin nightmare, sounded like a hammer hitting the frame every pedal rev.
Gave up on the LBS- after they failed to fix - replaced & locktighted bearings and assembled with minimal grease and torqued end bolt - no issues in over a yr
Other downside BB30 cranksets cost a fortune compare to std 24mm ext bearing ones.0 -
I've got a SRAM S900 bb30 crankset for euro$150 at Chain Reaction Cycles.2015 Trek Domane 4.5 Disc

I had the same experience with my CAAD9 except my LBS were superb and fixed it in no time. Agreed about the cost of the cranksets after I had to replace my standard carbon job due to an accident... ouch.0
