KCNC CB1 brake pads and holders
Hi everyone,
I have some KCNC CB1 brakes with the stock brake pads which are branded as KCNC's own and are the same as the ones in the ebay photo here NOT the swiss stop green ones in the photo in the description:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KCNC-C7-Ti-Ti ... 515wt_1270
Anyway, I am purchasing some carbon rimmed wheels and have decided to purchase some swiss stop yellows. I will take out the stock red KCNC pads and replace them with yellows.
So setup 1 of brake pads and pad holders will be: brake pads swiss stop yellows and pad holders stock KCNC.
I need your help with setup 2.
They will be for my aluminium rims.
I need to find some brake pad holders that will fit the KCNC calipers and then some pads to fit whatever pad holders you suggest.
The only limitation? The price.
I appreciate I'm buying carbon wheels and swiss stop yellows blah blah so the natural choice would be to purchase two more pairs of KCNC pad holders. However, at £28 for 1 pair (!!!) i don't fancy this option.
Does anyone know of some compatible pad holders as well as pads that would come in at about 20-30 for BOTH pairs?
I hope that's all pretty easy to understand
Thanks in advance.

You really don't need a second set of holders. Just trade out the pads which will be easier and faster than changing out the holders. You'll need pads to fit Shimano style brakes.0

Or buy Clarks ones from CRC for a fiver and use them - work very well and cheap.
I wouldn't bother changing out the pads as you'll just chew up the grub screws massively and get really annoyed with it all then smash it all up with a hammer. 2 minute job to change holders.0 -
thanks for the ideas. decided to go for brake pad swapping in the end. turns out swiss stop pads slide in and out really easily.Time RXR Ulteam
