Recently purchased a replacement SRAM GXP BB from wiggle and noticed they are being discontinued?

Has anyone heard or seen links re: new GXP BB?

I think that's more to do with Wiggle's out of stock notifications rather than the parts being discontinued or could be that SRAM changed the part number / designation. The GXP BB was updated a couple of years ago
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

As you have to replace them so often SRAM have probably run out!

After my 5th SRAM GXP in 3 years I've turned to Chris King.

I did have a look @ Chris King but can't really justify the price...in the sense that I have no idea regarding it's longevity...whereas with SRAM GXP, I know it's are good for up to 750-1000 miles and I'm just replacing my first one.

Whilst on the subject. I got sidetracked over the weekend so didn't have time to fit the new BB.
I don't have a torque wrench...is this going to be a huge problem, or should I just install the new one and stop tightening once all the play has been eliminated?
Am I breaking a cardinal sin by not using a torque wrench?
