After something nice, slightly unusual but not Rapha.

Towards premium end of market but nose wipe friendly.

Any ideas?

Not sure what you mean by unusual (or what qualifies as "premium") but I got a pair of the new Prendas mitts last week and love them.

I just picked up some louis garneau (correct spelling?). Very light, no padding in red and black from Evans cycles at London bridge for something like 8 quid....they are quality and ideal summer gloves.

Premium? Assos or Rapha (which you've excluded). Anything else reeks of poverty

I saw some bike riders in the longest one day race this year not wearing any gloves at all

Assos gloves aren't so good - not at all in the same league as their shorts. If you are looking towards the premium end of the market, and have already discounted Rapha, you might want to give Dromarti some thought

Louis Garneau have some airy mesh type ones via Evans but about £26
