Road/tri bike

Ive started to see a few cervelo tt bike used as a road bike with drop bars and regular sti shifters.
I would think the geometry would ruin the steering and make it a wee bit twitchy? What do you guys think?

It won't be any different to riding a TT bike on the base bars. On some hilly tri courses (e.g. IM France) it's not unusual to have a TT bike with drops & clip-ons.

Could they be the Cervelo aero road bikes though?
