There is a second hand bike of this model local to me for sale at £120 - it still looks in good condition - what do people think about this, and in particular for doing a tour of Europe for a month on it?

If you are carrying tent/sleeping bag etc then I don't think it will be very suitable. If you are staying in hotels/B&Bs ('credit-card touring') then maybe more suitable. Even if I was staying in hotels/B&Bs I wouldn't want to tour for a month on my road bike - I'd swap some speed for some comfort.

Looks like an old (very) model. Shifters on the top of the bars! (I suppose at least they aren't on the down tube).
The newer Airlite (100,200 etc) seem to get OK reviews.0 -
