Hey guys,

I am interested in a Canyon Roadlite 6/7 for my first proper road bike. However as you know you can't try one in the UK.

So is there anyone in the Buckingham/Bedfordshire willing to let me try out their bike for a fitting?
By test drive I mean size it up for my height, not an hour out of your sight with a complete stranger, i'll be in your sight the whole time.

I'm 6"2 so I think a 58 will be ok, correct me if i'm wrong.

Have valid ID etc.

Edit: also what is this bike suited towards? New in the world of road bikes and am looking for something for both speed and long distances. Some hills!

I thought the UK agent could get hold of some demo bikes? Did you try him?

From what I know the only way to officially test one is in Germany...

The website says nothing about a UK agent? Do you have any more info?

Canyon doesn't have a showroom in the UK at present. Canyon do have a showroom at the factory in Koblenz, Germany, which is about an hour from Frankfurt airport on the train.

Bear in mind Canyon’s 30 day money back guarantee which means that, providing the bike has not been used for more than a test ride on a clean, dry surface, we can offer an exchange or full refund anytime during the first 30 days after delivery of the goods. Full right of revocation terms are available on the following page: http://www.canyon.com/_uk/terms_conditions.html

Thought as much, thanks anyway though

I am also 6' 2" and bought the Canyon SLX 8 with a 60 frame. My height is 188cm with an Inseam of 92cm. The 62 would have been far too big. Lovely bike with great kit and at just 6.8KG, it is good for hills, especially if you are nudging 50!
