Headset Reducers or others? Or Overdrive size forks?
I have a Giant Defy 4 (U.K version) with a steel fork and want to buy a carbon fork as an upgrade. I've had trouble finding Defy Carbon forks, so decided (if possible) to get a fork which isn't in Giants 1 1/8" - 1 1/4" bearings Overdrive size i.e 1 1/8".
Question is, is it possible to put a headset reducer on a 1 1/8" fork to make it fit my Defys' 1 1/8" - 1 1/4" size?
If not, is there ANY carbon fork which can take headset reducers to fit my Defy?
Would headset reducers be okay too, as in no ratlling from loosness when riding?
Also, is there any carbon fork (Chinese makes like Hong Fu etc.) that comes in 1 1/8" - 1 1/4" bearings size?
I would really appreciate any feed back from you.
Thanks.
Kinetic.

enve does a tapered fork, it's available in 1.125-1.25 ...

...may more than you want to spend though
btw the rake of the enve is 43mm, don't know the rake of your current fork, but if the new fork is too different it'll affect handlingmy bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny0 -
Try emailing the likes of Deng Fu Bikes, FlyXi or E HongFu, all have a decent rep. E Hong Fu have one listed for $75 plus shipping:
