FSA bearing replacement

I think I know the answer to this one.

The drive side bearing on my FSA bottom bracket has seized (having taken the seals out of the bearing, I'm amazed to find there's still a lot of grease in there; the balls have just corroded to the races at the contact points!). The bearing is 24mm ID, 37mm OD and 7mm wide; don't suppose anyone would know where I can get a decent replacement? Simply Bearings doesn't stock it and Google is not very forthcoming either.

Failing that, will any Hollowtech II BB be compatible with the FSA Gossamer cranks that this BB was supplied with? Thinking of getting one of the Hope units.

Thanks in advance

Have a look at the plastic or rubber side of the bearings (but sometimes is stamped on the metal), should be a unique serial part number all bearings have (try 61805rs to start with) and search on E-bay and you will find loads for sale for about a £5 each.

HT2 BB is fine for FSA Gossamer
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    Cheers Monty.

trooperk, the number is 24377-2RS01. As I say, I'm having a lot of no luck using that to find the right bearing.

You listed the ID of the bearing as 24mm, is that includes a plastic sleeve or not?

Just found this article, looks like it uses the same size bearing as Hope BB’s so plenty on E-bay,hers the link. http://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic ... in-hope-bb
