specialuzed s works shoes: stiff dial issue

Hi all

One of the BOA dials on my Spesh BG S Works shoes has become stiff & doesn't move freely as the 3 others. Ok i'll put this down to fair wear & tear after regular use over nearly a year. However, the small allen tool supplied with them doesn't seem to do much. Any one else had this problem? If so, what did you do? Any hints or advice from anyone would be most welcome.

cheers all

Ali

I took mine to a concept store and they fitted new Boa's for me.

As well as that, Boa, as a manufacturer offer a lifetime guarantee so you can email them and get spares free of charge at any time.

undo the dial and give it a clean inside, maybe some crud has got in there, when doing up the screw, don't over tigthen it as that'll make the dial tight

boa advise using a smidge of silicone lubricant to make things go smoother

took shoes into Spesh concept store in Covent Garden & they sorted the seized BOA dial & loosened up all the others so they all move smoothly now. No issues whatsoever, very quick & friendly. Costs nothing!!!
