Now I'm not one to moan, and I'm a firm believer in that you get what you pay for, however I got a focus cyclox bike from wiggle and so far I have had to replace the bearings in the bottom bracket twice and it's only 8 months old. I have now given up and am putting on a new chainset. Pretty f'ing poor especially as I contacted Focus and got not reply, and Wiggle told me bearings aren't covered under their warranty.

If you've been riding through deep water or in heavy rain then it's a common problem with virtually-all external bearing bottom brackets - TBH your beef should be with the component manufacturers who have fobbed us of with a cr@p design and it's nothing to do with Focus or Wiggle.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0
