Search for carbonzone (on here and google), lots of good reports on here, from folk - think there is a carbon frame from carbon zone in the 'my road bikes' section

I bought a frame from Carbonzone. Overall i'd trust Carbonzone in China over many of the mainstream UK online retailers!! Carbonzone deliver faster than some of them too!!!

    Hi Paul,
Sorry to jump on and ask - did they give u a tracking number immediately when you bought your frame or did you have to ask for one. I have had the congrats email from them but nothing since.
    Many Thanks,

    Hi there

I had mine painted matt black which they do to order so my tracking number came 9 days after i order the frame (this was explained to me before i bought). I'd not worry for a few days after ordering as they ship it then send the tracking details on. When did you order?

just out of curiosity, which frames did you go for?

Thanks for the reply - order placed on wednesday, so am not stressing yet(!), have emailed them this morning and asked for a tracking number, so we shall see!! :)

Chris, have just gone for some deep section carbon rims atm. If my TT increases then plan to go for a TT frame from them at a later date, if not may go for a crit bike. What are you going for??

i'm not too sure yet, it'll just be one of the standard road ones.

deciding what groupset to put on it at the moment, probably getting slightly ahead of myself but its good to have plans :)

Has anyone been stung on import duty? If so what sort of %age of the value did you get asked for. Looking to pull the trigger on some wheels, but it may be false economy if there is a massive duty charge
    Thanks

My carbon frame+forks were delivered this week from China.
I bought from ebay seller 'e_baygoods', and delivery took 4 weeks including 1 week in UK customs awaiting clearance.

    The cost of frame+forks was £199 + £60 P+P and I was stung for £20.61 Customs charges.

I had the bike built within 4 hours and have covered 100 miles so far. Great ride, very pleased.

    Completed build.

I bought wheels last year. They came quick, are good and didn't get stung for customs. I would heavily rec that you are about to receive the box though - if it is damaged you should send it back - carbonzone (fairly enough) doesn't like it if people accept the box and then complain that the wheels are damaged....
