Road Helmet Selection Near Nottingham

Hello all,
I need to buy a new helmet and rather than order online I'd rather try them all on and see which fits best as I've exhausted Evans Cycles range and non look right.
My head is quite large, but also the gap between the top of my ear at the top of the middle of my head (the crown?) is also quite large so the 'mushroom effect' can be quite prominent, especially with a large gap at the side of my head, which can't be good for protection.
Therefore... any suggestions to shops with a decent range of helmets that I can visit and try on in and around Nottingham? I don't mind travelling if the journey is worth it.
Thanks..

Not from Nottingham but do spend some time there for work and can't fault http://www.tfn.uk.com/ who also tend win quite a few awards, whilst they are a Tri shop their range does cover road bikes and accessories and have bought quite a bit from them when in the area.Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

Leisure Lakes (near Long Eaton) have a reasonable selection including Giro and Specialised.
Halfrauds are even worth a try if you do not mind a Boardman.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
Thanks for the suggestions so far.
TFN is just down the road, are they open to do any deals or offer discounts for British Cycling membership?0
