Arrived home from work tonight and imagine my surprise when the Mrs suggests we get a turbo! "What?" I say, thinking has she been looking at my Ebay browsing history! Apparently she saw it in one of my cycling mags and quite fancies doing it while watching a bit of tv in the evening. This chaps is a veritable gifthorse and one not to be looked in the gob. What I would like to know are
- any recommendations in the £150 price bracket
- can you use a MTB on one (Mrs Calpol only has a MTB), I suspect a spare wheel with a slick tyre might be required in order to make it work??
I can use my old road bike and would be delighted to buy this item for her to use and me to sometimes borrow All your thoughts and opinions wellcome.

PITA swapping between MTB and roadbike due to the different wheel sizes...
I recommend a cycleops jet fluid 2. Howver as I said, it's not a quick job to swap between the two bikes...Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching
