hi i am a newbie to the cycling scene and recently bought a ht mtb but have been riding mostly on the roads with it.I am now thinking of purchasing a road bike in the near future however i have never ridden a road bike and i am unsure on if its right for me.I am willing to spend upto £1000 wether that be new or secondhand i am yet to decide. Is there anywere in south yorkshire that hires out road bikes for maybe a week so i could have a good few rides out to see if it is the right thing to do or just another overnight wim which i have a had a few.lol.Any info will be gratefully recieved

    This might be an option:

But you might want to try a few out in a shop to make sure the size is right. It's a bit cheeky using the local shop like this - so if you do got for it, I'd recommend revisiting that shop to buy the accessories later (or send the bike back to wiggle and buy it locally later).
