Hi
I have Cube Agree SL 2010 Alloy road bike equipped with full ultegra and mix of Easton and Syntace. The bike's done close to 4k kms. Bike has seen no accidents or anything and is maintained spotless. I consider myself a heavy rider at 90Kgs hieght of 5.9+

I am no expert at maintaining bikes and dont have access to good bike shops here. Here is the issue: I get clicking noise from the Chainset area. i have done a very basic check and dont see anything loose etc. The sound was initially very low and didnt come all the time. but now its more prominantly noticeable and loud. makes others turn their heads and ask what that noice is.

occasionally other riders asked me to check if the cadence sensor or speed sensor are coliding etc.

could it be the bottom braket? or chainset ? Doesnt come on the stand, only when i am on the bike and pedaling.

thanks for the time..

  • Outside chance but just in case --- I had this once and my heel was catching the extra bit of inner cable on the FD sticking out and clicking - - maybe ...?

Maybe the BB is on the way out? Is it louder when you stand and really stomp on the pedals?
