Rolland is rider of the day too.

Yep. If he holds on for a podium it'll be incredible.

Agreed! Vanendert looks strong but that group have let it go now...

Those who didn't back Gilbert for PTP are looking good

Unless you backed a Schleck

Good on Nibali. Enjoying seeing Rodriguez crack as well for some reason.

    Iglinsky keeping it exciting.

If that catch is made, Iglinksy will get it.

Astana are the surprise team of the Ardenne!

    Astana 2, Katusha 1.

Ardenne races sticking to their reputable reputation then.

Good stuff from Iglinskiy, but you gotta feel for Nibs.

2nd's alright - especially since no-one picked Iglinsky AFAIK.

Gutted for Nibs... almost the same thing as his ride in Lombardy - but at least he gets 2md this time.... The guy tries and has panache - the Schlecks on the other hand - what a disaster those two.

Yeah, but it would have been first if you hadn't said it was in the bag. *shakes fist*

I normally don't like it when people give the Schleck's stick, but after this last week........ seriously what a pair of nobs!

Does Iglinsky winning shift Liege a notch towards chipper?
  • Sort of enjoyed that, once it got going! Would love to have seen Nibali win, really good attack, but always looked like he was going to get caught, once the chase group thined itself out a bit. And to be fair to Iglinsky he rode a really smart race. Are we ever going to see riders win from La Redoute again? That's 4 years in a row the important attacks going on Côte de la Roche aux Faucons. Oh well, have the Tour of Turkey to look forward to now! :D

    Could have wept for Nibali.

Dan Martin- so close and yet so far. This guy has the talent, why has he yet to win big?

Nordhaug 20th. Uran was out of contention before it got going.
